THE ISSUES AT HAND
PARKING and TRAFFIC

SAFETY ENFORCEMENT
Our schools and neighbourhoods are plagued with parking, speed and traffic safety issues. Sue Sherban formally addressed council on Feb. 7, 2017 and took to social media to begin a meaningful conversation with members of the community about the new parking practices that town council had put into place.
"[The parking changes] have been a fiasco from the beginning" Sherban said.
Addressing these challenges needs to become a priority We are a growing community and we need to keep our citizens safe. It is time our town adopt innovative enforcement and safety practices when it comes to parking, speed and safety issues. By investing in alternatives such as, speed humps, bollards for bike lanes, school lane restrictions and more reasonable parking regulations, we make our town safer and livable for the families that reside here.
